Dieser Theaterabend ist eine Einladung der besonderen Art: eine Show und eine Tanzperformance. Ein manchmal verwirrendes Spiel mit Fiktion und Wirklichkeit, wie es nur Zwillinge treiben können. Ein Bericht aus dem Leben und ein Blick ins Innere. Auf einer Bühne, die offen wie eine Manege ist und das Publikum an drei Seiten platziert, spielen die beiden mit dem Theater und seinen Show-Momenten und implantieren ihm ihr Thema. Es geht um die Ähnlichkeit und das Anders sein, um Blicke und Verunsicherungen, um die Körper und ihre Verletzlichkeit. Mit Charme, Humor und ein paar direkten Worten geht es umdie Fragen des Lebens, vom Aufstehen bis zum Sex.
UNE TENTATIVE PRESQUE COMME UNE AUTRE wurde erstmals 2020 bei zwei Tanzfestivals in Liège und Marseille gezeigt. 2022 wurde die Inszenierung am Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles wieder aufgenommen, wo Clément Papachristou aktuell seine vierte Regiearbeit vorbereitet.

This play is a very special invitation: a show and a dance performance at the same time. An occasionally confusing way of playing with fiction and reality, the way that only twins can. An account from someone’s life and a glimpse of their inner world. On a stage that’s open like a circus ring and arranges the audience on three sides, the two brothers play with the form of theatre and its moments of spectacle and implant their theme inside it. It’s about being similar and being different, about the way people look at each other and insecurities, about the body and its fragility. With charm, humour and a few very direct words, it’s all about the big questions of life, from getting up in the morning to sex.
UNE TENTATIVE PRESQUE COMME UNE AUTREwas performed for the first time at two dance festivals in Liège and Marseille in 2020. In 2022, the production was revived by the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles, where Clément Papachristou is currently preparing his fourth play as a director.

The festival is planned in such a way that you can see several productions one after the other on one day – this means there are several circuits you can take.

The duration of the performance includes a 30-minute artist talk after the performance. The production will also be presented with German-language audio-description and live German translation into simple language.

Guillaume und Clément Papachristou, *1988, sind Zwillingsbrüder. Guillaume lebt seit Geburt mit den Folgen einer Zerebralparese, einer Verletzung des Gehirns. Er ist Künstler und Mitglied verschiedener inklusiver Tanz- und Theatergruppen in Marseille, mit denen er künstlerische Projekte mit Amateur- und Profiperformer*innen mit und ohne Behinderung erarbeitet. Die andere Zeit widmet er der praktischen Eroberung seiner Autonomie. Clément ist Schauspieler, Regisseur und Dramaturg. Er studierte Schauspiel in Liège in Belgien und lebt in Brüssel. UNE TENTATIVE PRESQUE COMME UNE AUTRE ist seine zweite Regiearbeit und die erste gemeinsame mit seinem Bruder Guillaume.
Guillaume and Clément Papachristou, b. 1988, are twins. Guillaume has lived with the consequences of cerebral palsy, an injury to the brain, since his birth. He is an artist, and a member of various inclusive dance and theatre companies in Marseille, in which he carries out artistic projects with amateur and professional performers, with or without disabilities. The rest of the time he devotes to the practical conquest of his autonomy. Clément is an actor, director and dramaturge. He studied Acting in Liège in Belgium and lives in Brussels. UNE TENTATIVE PRESQUE COMME UNE AUTREis his second play as a director and his first collaboration with his brother Guillaume.
