Wir gehen durch Straßen, die die Touristen dreckig hinterlassen haben. Hände in den Taschen, Kapuze auf dem Kopf. Wir schauen uns um: keine Menschenseele. Wo sind die jungen Leute? Wieder eine tote Jahreszeit in dieser Stadt. Wir haben Lust, alles zu zertrümmern, diese Welt aus ihrer Grabesruhe zu reißen in der Hoffnung, dass das Tier in uns wieder zu heulen beginnt.

Another dead season in this town. We feel like smashing everything up, shaking this world awake from its deathly quiet, in the hope that the animal in us will start howling again.

Das Festival ist so geplant, dass man an einem Tag mehrere Inszenierungen hintereinander sehen kann – so entstehen verschiedene Parcours.
The festival is planned in such a way that you can see several productions one after the other on one day – this means there are several circuits you can take.

Alice und Davide Sinigaglia sind Geschwister. Sie stammen aus einer Familie von Musiker*innen und sind durch das SCARTI Produktionszentrum für theatrale Innovation ihrer Heimatstadt La Spezia mit dem Theater in Berührung gekommen. Alice, *1996, studierte an der Theaterakademie Paolo Grassi in Mailand Regie. Davide, *1999, studierte Schlagzeug am Konservatorium von La Spezia und hat sich als Performer weiter ausgebildet. 2023 kuratierte Alice in La Spezia die erste Ausgabe des Theaterfestivals TUTTA LA VITA DAVANTI (DAS GANZE LEBEN VOR UNS) für alte Menschen der Zukunft, sprich Künstler*innen unter 30. Beider erste gemeinsame Performance ist ein Generationsporträt und ein theatraler Hybrid. Beat, Lyrik, Situation und Spiel wurzeln in der Musik. Sie ist der Ausgangspunkt und Mittel für die eigene Revolte und ein philosophisches Vexierspiel mit dem Konzept der Zivilisation: Menschen-Sein – Tier-Sein – Ich-Sein.
Alice and Davide Sinigaglia are sister and brother. They come from a family of musicians and first came into contact with theatre at the SCARTI Production Centre for Theatrical Innovation in their hometown of La Spezia. Alice, b. 1996, studied Directing at the Paolo Grassi Academy of Theatre in Milan. Davide, b. 1999, studied Percussion at the La Spezia Conservatory and then trained as a performer. In 2023, Alice directed the first edition of TUTTA LA VITA DAVANTI (OUR WHOLE LIVES AHEAD OF US) in La Spezia for the elderly of the future, i.e. artists under 30. Their first collaborative performance together is a portrait of a generation and a theatrical hybrid. The beats, poetry, situation and acting are all rooted in music. It’s the starting point and the tool for their own revolt and a philosophical conundrum with the concept of civilization: being human – being animal – being yourself.
